Posted 7/21/2023 Honey was aquired from another rescue.  She is extremely shy but does warm up but she will need a lot of one on one work.  I believe with the amount of progress she has made so far she just needs confidence and help to be as great as I know she can be.  Because she is so spooky she requires a fenced yard.  She has been perfectly housetrained here and wonderful in the crate.  Since she is a bit backward she will not eat or drink on front of people, and she will stay by a door knowing that is her way to bolt.  She is NOT snappy,  but will allow you to hug her.  I will not place her with any children since she does need work and she needs to be the center of attention to get her over the hump.  She has had a dental and bloodwork.  She is about 4-5 years old does require grooming  and her adoption fee is $350.  All the dogs are Spayed or Neutered, Heartworm/Lyme tested, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas and overall Vet checked.
